Quantum Entanglement and Reality: The World Exists Only When It Is Not Observed
South Kensington Campus, Imperial College London
18th January 2024 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm
In this in-person lecture I will be discussing quantum entanglement, which is the key phenomenon behind all the bizarre features of quantum physics.
The two mind-blowing consequences of entanglement can be summarized in two simple catchphrases: “unperformed measurements have no outcomes” and “unobserved outcomes can affect future measurements”.
The lecture will start at 7:00 pm and, following audience Q&A, finish around 8:30 pm. Drinks, networking with fellow Friends and the speaker will then be available with the event closing around 8.45 pm.
