Are we on the brink of another revolution in physics? Join me in conversation with Prof. Jacob Dunningham as we explore five thought experiments from my new book, Portals to a New Reality, that could radically change our understanding of the universe.

Takes place in The Tusk Room.  Please note that the downstairs venue has no wheelchair access.

Join me at the Institute of Physics as I explore the ideas behind my new book, Portals to a New Reality. I’ll introduce five experiments within our technological reach that could transform our understanding of quantum physics, gravity, living systems and consciousness.

Refreshments from 7 pm. Talk and Q&A from 7.30 pm to 9 pm.

I’ll be joining leading researchers in gravitational quantum physics for a workshop exploring how gravity influences quantum systems. Together, we’ll compare theoretical frameworks and experimental approaches, seeking a more coherent understanding of where quantum theory and general relativity meet, and how future experiments could test it.

I’ll be delivering a keynote at DIFRACTA ’26, an international festival bringing quantum physics into conversation with art, design, technology and philosophy. Joining researchers, artists and thinkers from across these fields, I’ll explore how quantum ideas could reshape our understanding of reality and the ways we research, create and share knowledge.
